Everyone has a Life Calling
Life Calling & Career integrates vocational exploration, spiritual formation, and career readiness, helping IWU’s residential undergraduate students quickly connect who they are with what they’re called to do. Guided by the Wildcat Way, we help students discover their God-given design, clarify purpose, and prepare for meaningful careers. Through coaching, for-credit courses, and hands-on experiences, our team walks with students in both calling and career—because purpose without direction can feel aimless, and direction without purpose can feel empty. Together, calling and career empower students to live with confidence, serve with character, and impact the world for Christ.
How We Work
Our work is shaped by four guiding questions: Who am I? Who do I want to be? What am I here to do? How do I get there? These questions drive our priorities – engaging students early, fostering self-discovery, connecting calling with career opportunities, and preparing students for internships and employment. Through partnerships with faculty, employers, and the broader IWU community, Life Calling & Career helps students move with clarity and confidence from exploration to action.
